Love Where You Live

Loving. Warm. Supportive. Fun.

A real community.

That’s the vibe in our residence halls.

What helps create this unique environment is that we fill our residence halls with good people, and we weave our University’s Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Service, and Social Justice) and Critical Concerns (Anti-racism, Women, Immigration, Non-violence, and the Earth) into our residential events.  It helps remind us of our purpose.

In the Res Halls, we’ll help keep you motivated so you can finish college strong, with four years of amazing memories.

So I chose to live on campus rather than home because I knew I wanted to get the full college experience. I want to be able to build new friendships, new relationships with staff and also residents on campus. It feels like home. It's a very welcoming and loving environment. The general vibe in the res halls is a great community, and a safe place where we encourage residents to be themselves. We work hard on, you know, making sure this is a great community in which we bond with one another. So with the support of RA's and Residence Life on campus, we are here for you. You know, we're here as a support system. We want to help you achieve academic excellence, and also help build a community and develop yourself as a student. We want you leaving Gwynedd, and better than the way you came in as a better person.
